Minutes:
The committe reviewed the progress toward online registration. Nan Ault reported that we have submitted the forms to ClassChoice rep to be formatted and prepared for review. The counselors are working with administration to finalize the course for the 2013-2014 school year. The online payment system has been approved and will be tested at the high school in the near future.
Nan Ault reported on the release of the 2012 graduation rate, %77.
Nan Ault distributed a draft of the school improvement plan. She asked that the committee review the draft and make suggestions for change. She proposed that we use the approved plan for accreditation and for Land Trust goals as well as meeting district and state goals.
Parent survey results will not be presented until the March 4 meeting.
Nan Ault reported on the school addition and the remodel update. Discussion was made on the need to add a student counseling center. The council supported the suggested changes to existing space for teacher workroom, broadcasting room and journalism room.
