NSMS Tech Trainer

My name is Angela Thompson, and while I am originally from Sanpete County, I grew up all over, moving so frequently that adjusting to a new locale became just a regular part of life.  While attending a U.S. DoDDs high school in the Republic of Panama, I had many opportunities to develop a passion for technology with access to a wide array of technologies largely unavailable to the typical U.S. teenager in the 1990s. I became an IT specialist with  qualifications including a degree in IT Management; A+, Network+, and Project+ certifications; and detailed knowledge of a wide variety of business operations as well as software & hardware platforms. I love to sing, play several instruments, am a voracious reader, and enjoy being actively involved in community civics. My parents’ semi-retirement paved the way for me to return to my hometown, and my family has greatly enjoyed being here. I have a fabulous husband, 6 wonderful children (3 at home), and 1 grandchild (with one on the way). I am thrilled to join the NS Technology Team and look forward to this new adventure!
