NSSD Mission

NSSD Foundation

Dear Parents,

For the staff of North Sanpete School District, our goal this year is to invest in our physical and mental health, strong work ethics, and the relationships we have with each other.  Our focus is to “Do Well by Doing Good”.  I hope you will support us in this effort.  As O’Dee and I visited each school yesterday, it was incredible to see the children and staff smiling and doing well.  We are so glad to be back at school.

We have delivered the N95 masks that the Governor sent to all schools.  Please let your teacher and principal know if you need any sanitation items.  The Central Utah Health Department has sent out an update to our COVID-19 Protocols.  It includes a clarification to quarantine requirements for home exposure.  I will continue to post all COVID updates to our website as they become available.

We will hold COVID testing clinics Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays beginning August 25th at North Sanpete Learning Center north of the high school.  The clinics will run from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.  These clinics are for students and staff.  Please reach out to the district office if you have a specific need or concern.  We have two full time nurses that will direct our efforts.  We appreciate their expertise.  If you have further needs, please contact the local health department at 435-462-2449.

Central Utah Public Health Department will hold a Pfizer COVID vaccine clinic for anyone in the community age 12 and older.  The clinic will be held on Thursday, April 26th from 2:30 to 4:00 pm at North Sanpete School District Office.  Following are detailed instructions for obtaining the vaccine at this clinic:

  • You are required to pre-register for the vaccination clinic online at https://patportal.cdpehs.com/ezEMRxPHR/html/login/mq8o06bVYl0tCbo6LXqh.htm
    • Click on the link above or copy and paste it into a browser
    • Enter Code 120NSAN
    • Select North Sanpete District Pfizer 1st Dose 8.26 and select a time (PLEASE NOTE: regardless of the time you select, the clinic will be from 2:30 to 4:00 pm – come anytime during this time frame)

As a celebration, I thought I would share an email message that O’Dee just received from one of our new employees, “ …I was very impressed by the respect and politeness shown by not just a few, but many of our students. Comments like ‘Thank you’, ‘we appreciate what you do for us’. All I can say is wow!....”  Thank you to our parents for teaching our children that words matter and efforts to be polite and grateful can change the world.  This is a great example of doing well by doing good.

Hope you enjoy your weekend,
Nan
