How/when expectations are taught
Each classroom teacher with the support of the building principal teaches schoolwide expectations at the beginning of the school year and reviews expectations after school breaks or when needed.

How expectations are reinforced
Expectations are posted around each school in common areas and in each classroom. Staff receive training on positive ways to reinforce appropriate behavior. All staff are primary enforcers of Tier 1 expectations, while administration address Tier 2 and 3 behaviors.

How behaviors are
Teachers receive training in classroom management skills through PBIS and TBRI training. Teachers follow a behavioral flow chart that guides them through the tiered process of interventions. When needed, behavior interventions are developed to improve classroom behavior.

Pro-social activities or programs that provide a positive extracurricular involvement for students:

Student wellness rooms have been created to provide students a place to deescalate and talk to a trusted adult if needed.
A teen center is available at the high school to support students and families ….
Many schools offer after school tutoring and activities …
Secondary schools offer a variety of clubs and organizations that students are welcome to join.
