North Sanpete School District's only Dual Immersion School!
Students that attend Moroni Elementary in grades 1-6 are automatically enrolled in Spanish Dual Immersion. Students spend half of their school day in the Spanish classroom and the other half of the day in English. The deadline to enter the program is January 15 of the second grade year. During the school board meeting on April 15th, each school recognized a Teacher of the Year. When you see the following individuals, please take a moment to congratulate them. FVE - AnnJeanette Olson FGE - Rylie Bench MPE - Burgundy Butler MOR - Nicole Lamb SCE - Stacey Rasmussen NSMS - Ross Christensen NSHS - Ben Cox PCS - Colton Shelley New Teacher of the Year - Colton Shelley District Teacher of the Year - Ben Cox Ben will go on and represent NSSD in the state-wide competition for Utah Teacher of the Year. Another great recognition was Mt. Pleasant Elementary's own Jesscia Hall was nominated for UAESP Secretary of the Year. We have the most wonderful staff....Thank you for all of your hard work.
