NORTH SANPETE SCHOOL DISTRICT FOOD SERVICE
Dear Parent/Guardian:
Any student meal account balances remaining at the end of the school year will be rolled over to the next school year. Sixth and Eight grade balances will be rolled over to the Middle school and High school. All balances including free or reduced price students accounts will be rolled over to the next school year unless a refund request is filled out and turned in to Karen Seely. These balances will roll over until the student reaches his or her senior year. At the end of the students senior year all funds that are not requested will be retained by the Child Nutrition Program. No refunds are available through the school. All refunds will be handled at the district level.
North Sanpete School District Food Service has a procedure in place for refunding school meal funds. If you are
needing a refund for any reason, please know that if you paid your meal balance by check there is a 30-day waiting
period before funds can be refunded to you to ensure that the check has cleared the bank. If you are leaving the
district, we will mail a refund check to you. We can also transfer funds to other students accounts at any school in North Sanpete School District.
If you would like a refund, please complete, and send the attached Request for Refund or Transfer form to
karen.seely@nsanpete.org. You may also mail the form or deliver it to our district office (Mon–Fri 8am to 4pm) at
the address listed on the bottom of this page. Checks will be mailed to the address you provide on the form.
